สำนักงานศิลปวัฒนธรรมร่วมสมัย
จัดกิจกรรม GMS Artist Residency เพื่อการเผยแพร่แลกเปลี่ยนด้านศิลปะ ระหว่างศิลปินรุ่นใหม่ จำนวน 13 คน จากประเทศในกลุ่มอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขง ได้แก่ จีน (ยูนนาน) กัมพูชา ลาว เมียนมา ไทย และเวียดนาม โดยกิจกรรมเสวนากลุ่ม (Panel Discussion) ในครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นเวทีสำหรับการสร้างความตระหนักรู้และการวิพากษ์ประเด็นสำคัญในอนุภูมิภาคนี้ ตั้งแต่ด้านระบบนิเวศและสิ่งแวดล้อม ประวัติศาสตร์ การเมือง สังคมวิทยา เศรษฐศาสตร์ จนถึงศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม ผ่านมุมมองของวิทยากรและผู้ร่วมเสวนาที่เป็นนักเคลื่อนไหวด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม ศิลปิน ภัณฑารักษ์ และนักวิจัยที่ทำงานเกี่ยวกับอนุภูมิภาคลุ่มแม่น้ำโขงและประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้อง

For the first GMS Artist Residency initiated by the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Thailand’s Ministry of Culture, 13 young and emerging artists from the Greater Mekong Subregion, including China (Yunnan), Cambodia, Lao, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, get together for an exchange of artistic reflections and dialogues. The GMS Artist Residency Panels Discussion is hosted as another platform for raising awareness and critique of the many pressing concerns in this subregion—from ecology and environment, history, politics, sociology, economics to arts and cultures, through the views of the speakers who are activists, artists, curators, and researchers active in the field of the GMS and its associated topical issues.
