ผลงานศิลปะนิพนธ์ชุดนี้มีจุดประสงค์ที่จะนำ เสนอผลงานประติมากรรมในหัวข้อเรื่อง “สตีมพังค์ในไตรภูมิ” โดยได้แรงบันดาลใจจากการที่ข้าพเจ้าได้ตั้งคำถามถึงการแต่งไตรภูมิที่ถูกเขียนขึ้นในรัชกาลที่ 4 ที่รับอิทธิพลจากชาติตะวันตก ที่เชื่อในแนวคิดมนุษย์นิยมที่เชื่อในตัวมนุษย์และสติปัญญาของมนุษย์ว่าสามารถเข้าใจถึงความจริงของทั้งโลกกายภาพ และของปัญหาทางจริยธรรมและการปกครองในสังคมมนุษย์ได้ โดยไม่จําต้องยอมศิโรราบต่อจารีตที่สืบทอดต่อกันมา เข้ามามีอิทธิพลในการเขียนไตรภูมิที่อ้างอิงหลักการทางวิทยาศาสตร์และหลักความเป็นไปได้มีเหตุมีผลที่อธิบายถึงอิทธิฤทธิ์ สิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติที่ปรากฏในไตรภูมิ กระบวนการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานนั้นเกิดจากการนํารูปทรงของสัตว์หิมพานต์และเทคโนโลยีที่เกิดขึ้นในศตวรรษที่ 19 มาผนวกเข้าด้วยกัน จนเกิดเป็นรูปทรงที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงรูปทรงของสัตว์หิมพานต์ที่ถูกปกคลุมไปด้วยวัสดุ เครื่องจักร กลไกเทคโนโลยี เพื่อแสดงให้ถึงความสัมพันธ์ที่สอดคล้องกันของสัตว์หิมพานต์กับเทคโนโลยีที่เกิดขึ้นในศตวรรษที่ 19 โดยใช้เทคโนโลยีที่เกิดจากภาพจําของมนุษย์หรือความเคยชินในชีวิตประจำวัน เช่น ยานพาหนะ อุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้า เครื่องจักร ฯลฯ งานประติมากรรมชุดนี้จึงแสดงให้เห็นการเชื่อมต่อ การผสมผสาน การยืด การผนวก เพื่อแสดงให้เห็นถึงความเป็นไปได้ที่จะอธิบายถึงอิทธิฤทธิ์ สิ่งเหนือธรรมชาติที่ปรากฏ ในไตรภูมิผ่านผลงานประติมากรรมชุดนี้

This art thesis’s purpose is to create sculptures under the concept สตีมพังค์ในไตรภูมิ’, which is inspired from the artist questioning the writings about the ‘Three worlds’ that is written in the reign of King Rama IV, which was influences by the Western nations that believes in humanism. They believe in the human and their wisdom that can understand the reality of the world, and of the ethical and governance problems in human society, without having to surrender to the traditions that have been inherited. This became the influence in the writing of the ‘Three worlds’, having the influence based on scientific principles and rational feasibility principles, which explains the supernatural things that appears within the Three worlds.

The process of creating the artworks is made by combining the shapes of the Himmapan creatures and the technology that has occurred in 19th century, which it forms a shape that shows the shape of a Himmapan animal that is covered with materials, machinery, technology. This shows a close linkbetween the Himmapan creatures and the technology of the 19th Century, by using technologies that applies in every day’s life such as Vehicles, Vehicles, electrical equipment, machineries, etc. Therefore, this sculpture that expresses the connection, merging and combining of the two helps to show the possibilities to explain existence of the supernatural things within the ‘Three World’
